Well yesterday it was nearly 60 degrees and today it has been in the 20's. Looks like snow for the next few days... As a child I loved the snow, but as an adult I can not stand it. Shoveling snow YUCK!!! I have never broken down and purchased a snowblower. It really only snows hard enough for a snowblower a couple times a winter. So Shovel it is. However this year I will not be able to shovel after December 20th when I get my elbow fixed. Maybe after the wife has to shovel we will have an new snowblower... Today 2yo and I hung around the house and were rather lazy. I am extremely tired since I have not been able to sleep because of the elbow. Hopefully tonight I will get a better nights sleep. I honestly think 2yo is coming down with a cold. He is really not himself. A little extra cranky and not eating his normal way.

Day 2 of the New Format
Well this is day two of the new format and I am currently very happy with the look and feel. today was one of those long days that just seemed to be so busy. My younger Son age 2 has a preschool class that I take him to. I have to wait around for the hour class and tend to talk to the moms. Yes I am the ONLY dad there every week. I use this time to chat a bit and a few of the moms that stay during class are open enough to talk with me. After class we needed to head out and do some errands. This was a good day for that since it is the the day the Housekeeper comes by and cleans. (Yes we pay someone to clean 2 times a month, but we both work as well as have 2 kids.) We headed out to the post office to drop off a package from an ebay sale. I sometimes have the Post Office pick up, but around here it is not very reliable. From the Post Office we returned lights to the hardware store, dropped movies off at the library, hit the cash station, dropped off our first PAID movie rental in years to the video store, picked up French Fries from the Big M for the little one and a Slice for me from the local Pizza place. The entire time it was raining... Figures. The afternoon was pleasant since the school days make my son really tired and he napped pretty well. I was able to get some work done as well as get a little me time and watch some Tivo'd TV. By late afternoon the day turned a little tougher since the little one was acting a little under the weather. For about an hour he kept looking to see if mom was home. My older boy (6) got home from school just as mom got home. Then all hell breaks loose. the boys go running around and the dogs are excited to see mom. the next hour is a juiced up frenzy running boys... It is getting late and I should sleep, but sleep is a bit hard these days. I need to have a tendon fixed in my Right Elbow so I have a difficult time being comfortable and pain free. December 20th is the day I am to have it fixed.
Well as day two comes to a close I can say I am really glad tomorrow is Thursday...The day I have no where to go!!!
Daily Observation: No matter how hard I try I can NEVER get the carpet to look as nice vacuumed as the housekeeper does...

I have been a Work At Home Dad since Feburary 2005. After nearly 2 years I have found I am a “Man Among Mommies.” This is my second blog creation as a WAHD and I have begun to move my old posts to this site. My hope for this blog is to bring a humorous and entertaining view of my life as a Work At Home Dad to the world. Please enjoy and comment as you see fit.
I will also be adding a Daily Observation each day.
Daily Observation:
If you are running late there will always be a stinky diaper to slow you down.
Be Well
